Extreme Adventure, Pickering:

BlueFish Regeneration was commissioned by Pickering 2020 Ltd, part of the Yorkshire Forward Renaissance Market Towns Programme, to carry out an outline Feasibility and Business Plan for a proposed 30 acre development on the edge of Pickering in North Yorkshire. Set against the backdrop of the North York Moors National Park, the project is set to deliver a mixed use, eco-friendly development combining affordable housing with sports and educational facilities managed by community-led social enterprise. Having enthusiastically adopted the Plan, Pickering 2020 Ltd. has commissioned BlueFish to deliver implementation of the project in partnership with its management team and local stakeholders.

Working with BlueFish has proved beyond doubt that with vision, skill and determination, we can create better places to live.
WBlueFish has provided real leadership and focus to our renaissance programme, helping us turn our dreams into reality.

North Yorkshire Business Education Partnership (NYBEP):

BlueFish Regeneration was asked by NYBEP to lead a workshop for its 2006 Ryedale Gifted and Talented Summer School, using the Extreme Adventure Project as a live case study. The workshop formed an integral part of the Summer School’s key objective of teaching pupils to devise a marketing strategy. As part of the exercise, the pupils were given the task of creating a name and logo for the Extreme Adventure project. The results were presented by pupils to parents and the local community at the end of the week.

Working with BlueFish on such a major project really brought the summer school alive for these children. The feedback for North Yorkshire Business Education Partnership at the end of the week from pupils and parents was tremendous
